Long ago, there was a fox named nimbus. Nimbus was a god among foxes, and greeted all foxes who had succeeded in their climb to the top and had become aurora.

Long ago, there was a fox named nimbus. Nimbus was a god among foxes, and greeted all foxes who had succeeded in their climb to the top and had become aurora.
But the umbra, those who fell or were dragged down by unspeakable deeds… nimbus decided their fate, and dictated where they went so they would not haunt those below.
This job was invaluable, and those below were grateful.
But one day, nimbus vanished without a trace, and the aurora foxes have been searching for their god since.
The umbra have begun to fall back down into the world below, terrorizing the living creatures that exist there, and driving the humans out of the surrounding area with their horrible hauntings.
To keep themselves safe from their wicked ancestors, the foxes formed into three colonies to ensure safety from the foul poltergeists that plagued the territories.
